You might seek counseling because you are facing a difficult situation and need a trustworthy individual to help you achieve mental clarity as you sort through your feelings. Counseling services are offered to Richard Bland College of William & Mary students at no cost.
The information shared between you and your counselor is completely confidential. Rare exceptions are made for safety or if concern for your well-being is in question. If you need more extensive mental health services, you may request a referral to another agency in the community.
The mission of the Richard Bland College Department of Campus Safety & Police is to provide a safe and secure living, learning, and working environment for the College community. The Department is staffed by certified police officers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
